Light Up Jeffersonville & Holiday Parade

November 27 at 4pm

Celebrate the holiday season with the City of Jeff!

Republic Bank presents Light Up Jeff is scheduled for Saturday, November 27th at Warder Park.

The North Pole Party begins at 4 pm. It features games, music, rides, vendors and visits with Santa & Mrs. Claus. The Holiday Light Up Parade gets rolling at 6 pm. Find a spot on Spring Street – Market to 7th – and watch as the floats, bands and other participants ride by.

After the parade, Mayor Mike Moore will flip the switch to light up Warder Park.

*The lighting at Warder Park is designed and installed by Holiday Light Works.

Get your family together and have your photo taken with Santa on Tuesday, November 30th from 4pm-7pm (must reserve a time slot--only a few minutes allocated per photo session)) at Work the Metal! Tickets are $39 ----> ONE TICKET per individual/group/family, please (maximum of 6 per group/family). ONE TICKET gets you ONE Photo with Santa! Included in the ticket price is a photo with Santa + one (1) 5x7 print + image texted to your phone. NOTE: Photos will be done by Rivertown Photo Booths.

Make sure you catch him at Work the Metal before he heads back to the North Pole to prepare for Christmas!

Our Holiday Pop Up Shop is located across the parking lot from Wild Eggs at the Westport Village and next to Playthings Toy Shoppe.

Due to overwhelming community support, this event has reached its capacity limit and we will no longer be taking registrations. Only those who registered in advance will be admitted.

We have partnered with Norton Children's to offer a free screening of the holiday classic, Home Alone, on Friday, December 3. We will also have photos with Santa, raffle prizes, and other fun holiday activities.

Breakfast with the Grinch

Oldham County History Center

Join us for a walk through the Oldham County History Center campus where families will meet the Grinch and the Whos from Whoville, Elsa and Anna, and Santa and Mrs. Claus. Treats, crafts, and fun photo opportunities will be stationed throughout the campus. Admission for families will be a new, unwrapped toy or $3 per person. Bracelets will be provided at check-in to guests to show at stations. All toys donated will be delivered to HighPoint Charitable Services. Last year thanks to your generosity we were able to provide over 500 toys to children in our local community

Take a cruise with Saint Nick during Cookies with Captain Santa! Come aboard as the Mary M. Miller transforms into a winter wonderland for you and your family to enjoy! This family-friendly event includes a meet-and-greet with Santa, cookies and hot cocoa, a holiday goody bag for each child, and plenty of festive activities to get you in the holiday spirit. You’ll have two chances to experience Christmas magic on the River – Saturday, December 4 and Saturday, December 11.


This event will board from noon and cruise from 12:30 to 3 P.M. onboard the Mary M. Miller. Tickets are $35.99 for adults (15-64), $34.99 for seniors (65+), $14.99 for kids (5-14) and children 4 and under are free.

Light Up St. Matthews

Light Up St. Matthews has been a tradition for decades for thousands of residents and visitors to the City of St. Matthews. The annual holiday event features musical entertainment, letters to Santa, pictures with Santa, train rides, ice skating, activities for the kids, and fun for the entire family. Free cookies and hot chocolate are available for everyone to enjoy. No matter the weather, most activities are held under a big tent. The event begins at 3:00 p.m. and concludes at 6:00 p.m. when the switch is thrown and Brown Park “Lights Up” with thousands and thousands of colorful holiday lights. The event is held at Brown Park in St. Matthews, located at the corner of Kresge Way and Browns Lane, next to Baptist Health Hospital. Free parking for the event is at the Baptist Health Louisville doctors building, 4007 Kresge Way, directly across from the hospital with easy access to the park via a signaled crosswalk. Get a great start to the holiday season with family, neighbors and friends, and best of all, … it’s FREE! The seasonal lights will stay lit nightly until after the New Year. Residents and visitors to the community are welcome to visit the park daily throughout the holiday season to enjoy the lights. Event is rain or shine.
