New Law Provides Schools with 10 More Days of Remote Learning




Friday, January 14th Governor Beshear signed Senate Bill 25 into law. This law allows 10 additional remote learning days for the 2021-22 School Year.


Before the bill was passed there were only 10 days of remote learning for an entire district. This new bill allows provide up to 10 days of remote instruction per school for school districts to use at the :

  • school

  • classroom

  • grade

  • group level

  • temporarily revise retirement reemployment provisions until June 30, 2022; EMERGENCY.


This law also provides 10 additional NTI days entire districts already have. Giving more flexibility to deal with the Covid-19 outbreak.
