A Louisville tradition for over 40 years, Boo at the Zoo, presented by Meijer, transforms your Zoo into a living storybook, complete with some of your favorite characters brought to life, fun music and a safe place for trick-or-treating for kids 11 and under. We’re celebrating with an all inclusive party experience designed to give you all the kooky you love with none of the spooky. Our reduced nightly capacity eliminates the scary traffic delays when arriving for the party. Parking is easy and convenient in the Zoo’s lot and FREE for party guests!

Now all of your favorite Boo at the Zoo attractions are included with your admission! Your party ticket includes:

  • The Spooktacular Carousel

  • Our free-crawling “not-so-itsy-bitsy” Spider House

  • The Headless Horseman of Sleepy Hollow experience

Get your same sweet treats with fewer stops along the way. To help provide social distancing and to reduce contact, there will be a limited number of treat booths throughout the Zoo. Hocus Pocus at Kentucky Science Center

300 years have passed since the Sanderson sisters were executed for practicing dark witchcraft. Returned to life thanks to the accidental actions of the new-kid-in-town, the sisters have one night to secure their continuing existence.

Get nostalgic and experience the 1993 Hocus Pocus movie on the 4-story screen Friday, September 23 at 7PM.

After moving to Salem, Massachusetts, teenager Max Dennison (Omri Katz) explores an abandoned house with his sister Dani (Thora Birch) and their new friend, Allison (Vinessa Shaw). After dismissing a story Allison tells as superstitious, Max accidentally frees a coven of evil witches (Bette Midler, Sarah Jessica Parker, Kathy Najimy) who used to live in the house. Now, with the help of a magical cat, the kids must steal the witches’ book of spells to stop them from becoming immortal.
