Hocus Pocus at Kentucky Science Center

300 years have passed since the Sanderson sisters were executed for practicing dark witchcraft. Returned to life thanks to the accidental actions of the new-kid-in-town, the sisters have one night to secure their continuing existence.

Get nostalgic and experience the 1993 Hocus Pocus movie on the 4-story screen Friday, September 23 at 7PM.

After moving to Salem, Massachusetts, teenager Max Dennison (Omri Katz) explores an abandoned house with his sister Dani (Thora Birch) and their new friend, Allison (Vinessa Shaw). After dismissing a story Allison tells as superstitious, Max accidentally frees a coven of evil witches (Bette Midler, Sarah Jessica Parker, Kathy Najimy) who used to live in the house. Now, with the help of a magical cat, the kids must steal the witches’ book of spells to stop them from becoming immortal.

October 4-October 31, 2022

Jack O'Lantern Spectacular has become the "must-see" event of the Halloween season. Presented each October along a winding path through the majestic woods of Iroquois Park, guests are treated to an organic art gallery of more than 5,000 artistically carved pumpkins in themed settings. This family-friendly event has become an annual tradition for thousands, who come back each year to experience a variety of themed vignettes, set to music. Ask anyone who has attended...the event simply can't be described....it must be experienced.
