Kentucky State Fair gets approval from Beshear

Gov. Andy Beshear approves State Fair plan to take place. The Ky State Fair is scheduled August 20th- 30th this year and here is what you can expect:

  • Wider Aisles Indoors

  • Some aisles will be one way only

  • Fewer people allowed indoors

  • More hygiene stations

  • All staff, vendors, judges & live stock participants will Wear masks

  • Nearly 50% decrease in capacity from last year (600,000 in attendance last year)

  • Fewer amount of livestock shows & competition

  • Social distancing practices for rides on the midway for both in line and on the attraction

  • All School Tours will be cancelled this year

For Concerts:

  • Widened concert area From 1.9 acres to over 5 acres

  • Additional projection screens

  • Expanded seating- a change from 32inch rows to 6 foot rows & 10 foot cross aisles

Hours for General Public:

  • Monday- Thursday: Noon-11pm

  • Friday: Noon- Midnight

  • Saturday: 10am-Midnight

  • Sunday: 10am-11pm
