Here is what you need to know:
JCPS has been allotted 10 days of NTI or remote learning. There are not specified days as of yet, however between the number of people that have tested positive for Covid along with the staffing shortages including substitute teachers, JCPS is working to make sure that when or if this needs to happen they can provide options for as many students as possible. Marty Pollio plans to use the days strategically and effectively.
At the rate that Omicron is tracking, it looks like the peak will be at the end of January.
JCPS will continue the Test to Play program which tests children involved in extra curricular activities, clubs and sports.
Marty Pollio has been working with school leaders to ensure that kids who need Chromebooks will be able to borrow or check out Chromebooks.
