Special Ticket Required. A Louisville tradition for over 40 years, Boo at the Zoo, presented by Meijer, transforms your Zoo into a living storybook, complete with some of your favorite characters brought to life, fun music and a safe place for trick-or-treating for kids 11 and under. We’re celebrating with an all inclusive party experience designed to give you all the kooky you love with none of the spooky. Our reduced nightly capacity eliminates the scary traffic delays when arriving for the party. Parking is easy and convenient in the Zoo’s lot and FREE for party guests!

The Jack-O-Lantern Spectacular began in Oxford, Massachusetts in 1988. The Louisville event, celebrating its 9th year in 2021, is held in Iroquois Park with 5,000 carved pumpkins illuminated at night as an “art show”. The show runs daily from dusk to
11PM, weekdays (Sunday-Thursday), and closes at midnight on Friday & Saturday.

Arts and crafts and activities as usual, Pumpkin carving, costume contest and campsite/cabin decorating contest! Halloween campers are known for competitive decorating, outdoor cooking and having a good time. Prizes awarded for first-fifth places in campsite/cabin contests. Springdale Community Church ”Trunk or Treat” at SCC! Looking for a safe and fun place for your family to trick or treat? Come and hang out on Friday, October 29th as we host a family friendly, not-so-spooky event on our campus. There will be many fun, creative cars plus goodies for the kids to enjoy.
“Trunk or Treat” will be followed by a showing of “Hotel Transylvania 2.” Pre-packaged popcorn and water bottles will be provided during the movie. We encourage you to bring your own lawn chairs/blankets.
The fun starts at 6pm! We look forward to seeing you there!
Precautions: Rain does not cancel the event. We will move the Trunk or Treat indoors to several different areas if it is raining. Masks are recommended inside the building if you are walking around. Guests can be assured that the building is sanitized and cleaned before and after each event.
