Special Ticket Required. A Louisville tradition for over 40 years, Boo at the Zoo, presented by Meijer, transforms your Zoo into a living storybook, complete with some of your favorite characters brought to life, fun music and a safe place for trick-or-treating for kids 11 and under. We’re celebrating with an all inclusive party experience designed to give you all the kooky you love with none of the spooky. Our reduced nightly capacity eliminates the scary traffic delays when arriving for the party. Parking is easy and convenient in the Zoo’s lot and FREE for party guests!

The Jack-O-Lantern Spectacular began in Oxford, Massachusetts in 1988. The Louisville event, celebrating its 9th year in 2021, is held in Iroquois Park with 5,000 carved pumpkins illuminated at night as an “art show”. The show runs daily from dusk to 11PM, weekdays (Sunday-Thursday), and closes at midnight on Friday & Saturday.

Lurking in the shadows of West Main Street, the creepy creatures of Louisville Slugger Museum & Factory have arisen for another ghoulish Home Run Halloween. Beginning October 10th, Sundays in October will be fangtastic with half-off kids admission and, of course, candy!

Arts and crafts and activities as usual, Pumpkin carving, costume contest and campsite/cabin decorating contest! Halloween campers are known for competitive decorating, outdoor cooking and having a good time. Prizes awarded for first-fifth places in campsite/cabin contests. Don’t forget candy for the trick or treaters (approx. 450-500 kids)!

Jack O'Lantern stroll returns Friday, October 22!
Enjoy hundreds of beautifully carved pumpkins lining the front of St. Francis of Assisi.
There will be concessions to purchase and trick or treat stations for the kiddos.
Mike Bush and The All Stars will rock out during the evening! They are such a great band and will make the evening fun for all!
We ask for a $5 donation per child to participate in trick or treating. (You can always donate more!)

Join us for our first-ever Trick-or-Treat at the Ballpark presented by Republic Bank on Friday, October 22. Come out in costume and enjoy a different Halloween experience in a safe, family-friendly environment. Kids may trick-or-treat on the concourse from 6:30-8:00 PM as participating sponsors will be set up with treats for the children. All attendees are welcome to stay for a special movie showing of Hocus Pocus on our huge high-definition video boards beginning at 8:00 PM.
