Henry County Courthouse

Join the Henry County Historical Society for a ghostly walk through downtown New Castle, our county seat. Local resident Virginia Harrod will lead us through stories, legends, true crime and more. Cherokee Triangle Family Fall Festival

We are holding our annual fall event again this year and hope you and your family and friends will come join in the fun! To begin the day we will be having a Children's Costume Parade. Kids are invited to wear their Halloween costumes and need to meet near the Gazebo at 11am.

Jack O'Lantern Spectacular has become the "must-see" event of the Halloween season. Presented each October along a winding path through the majestic woods of Iroquois Park, guests are treated to an organic art gallery of more than 5,000 artistically carved pumpkins in themed settings. This family-friendly event has become an annual tradition for thousands, who come back each year to experience a variety of themed vignettes, set to music. Ask anyone who has attended...the event simply can't be described....it must be experienced.
