It's that time of year where Christmas is just around the corner, bills are heavy and you may be stressing about how to provide a nice holiday for your family. Here are some places that can help if you are in need 2021:
Wayside Christian Mission- Miracle on Broadway
Wayside is making sure every child has a present to open on Christmas morning. Miracle on Broadway is a free Christmas store for the homeless and needy at Hotel Louisville. The store provides toys, personal items and food fo
r over 5,000 people each year.

USPS Be An Elf
Have your kids write a letter to Santa from November 1st- December 10th, 2021 (the sooner the better), must be postmarked with a real stamp and enclose your letter within the same envelope.

Working poor and struggling Jefferson County families can sign up for holiday programs that provide free Thanksgiving food baskets. There will also be Christmas stockings with free small gifts and even Easter baskets for children. A food pantry is on site, and there are also hand-made scarves, mittens and hats for the winter months. Clothing is also available based on donations for children.

For Oldham County
Holiday Gift Program
During the holidays, the Oldham County Red Cross helps collect gifts for children who are not able to afford them.
Applications for the program are accepted from families during the month of October and community members sponsor a family by purchasing gifts for the children.
